Westmatic's wash system is an important part of the maintenance of heavy vehicle traffic. In addition to the fact that vehicles are nicer to look at when they are clean, their lifespan is also extended through reduced corrosion attacks from road salt and other contaminants.
We also ensure that the wash water is reused and purified so that particles, oil and heavy metals are taken care of in the process.
Just like the vehicles, our washing systems benefit from regular maintenance. With our market-leading service organization, specially tested range of detergents and well-stocked spare parts, we are well equipped to ensure a long and sustainable life for the wash systems. Maintenance needs may vary depending on the type of wash system. Westmatic therefore adapts the service agreements to the right level. Always with sustainability in focus. Sustainability

From the very beginning, our focus has been sustainability in all perspectives. To minimize water consumption, optimal water purification and maximum recycling, it can be added that our machines are developed, designed and built to be robust and to last a long time. A distinct circular thinking that includes the product's entire life cycle makes wash systems from Westmatic wise investments.
No chemical additives are used in the purification process and meets tough environmental requirements.
Good working environment for both vehicle wash owners and users of the facility thanks to safe operation and efficient processes that allow the vehicle to quickly be back on the road again.

Our vision puts into words what daily both challenges and inspires us to continue developing an already good situation. In this, we always look at the whole. What we do should optimize all three perspectives of sustainability; people, planet, profit with long-term results for the customer, the customer's customer and for ourselves.
In Sweden, we have among the world's toughest environmental legislation, which makes it a balancing act, but we welcome it and sees it as completely reasonable. Swan labeling of wash bays includes the type and amount of chemicals used, and also the machine and the wash system, which must be economical in terms of water and electricity consumption, plus no dangerous substances can be released into the drain, etc. For product development, this means that we constantly shorten washing times, reduces water consumption, etc.

Visually, the vehicles become clean, but the main aim is to make them live longer by continuously removing dirt on visible and hidden surfaces. Efficiency is required to get the vehicles through quickly and back into business. We see the maintenance of our systems as the maintenance of our customers' customers' vehicles. Admin system, service, spare parts and own chemical products contribute to operational reliability. Through our life cycle analyses, we and the customer jointly follow up how a bay performs and suggest upgrades and, if necessary, machine changes.
To keep sustainability alive at all levels within the entire organization, during our Westmatic days we have workshops based on people, planet, profit. We also have monthly meetings with the same theme. Our employees are committed, aware and, in combination with legal requirements and work environment requirements, form the basis for the action plans we continuously act on. Health care is close to our hearts and we want everyone to be able to exercise during working hours, including in our own gym. We also work actively to do most of the work in the factory to reduce travel. Every day on the road makes an impression and every impression counts.

Our target vision: Sustainable, reliable and cost-effective
After fifty years in the industry, we still see endless opportunities for development. There is so much to further develop and optimize even if what we already offer is very good. We have set the ball rolling. Developments such as minimizing water consumption, streamlining the rinsing frequency and taking the water treatment from good to great are in full swing.
We set high standards for ourselves and never shy away from corners or throw in ideas. Our equipment is developed to have the smallest possible footprint in terms of water, chemicals, etc. The requirements for emission values for the Nordics' official environmental label The Swan are currently no stricter than the Environmental Protection Agency's guidelines, but will be tightened from the turn of the year 24/25. With our experience and in collaboration with the customer, we have developed a facility that is fully Nordic Swan-labelled.

Many of our development projects are related to the work environment, such as lowering noise levels, but also sustainability from an economic perspective through the modularization of our systems. We always start from our customers' needs and with our broad and deep experience we can meet these needs in a standardized way. Our robust washing systems in combination with our well-developed service organization provide our customers and our customers' customers with operational reliability and cost efficiency. The fact that we now also offer our own chemicals, which we know how they work and interact with other parts of the washing system, gives us even more in-depth control. This means that we, together with the customer, can more easily find out what happened and what needs to be done if something happens.

We constantly think along the lines of optimizing wash results and ease of use, as well as reducing energy and water consumption, streamlining cleaning and also ensuring the availability of the washing facilities.

Clean & Green
Westmatic wash systems are developed and engineered to exceed some of the world's most stringent regulations for the use of water and power resources. Made in Sweden for markets with extreme climates - from hot to cold. Westmatic's system uses less water, chemicals and electricity compared to competing systems. Our nozzles are configured to use up to 50% less water while our highly efficient motors require less electricity.
