The most common washing system for truck washing is based on a 3-brush Gantry machine.
This is a very flexible system where fixed washing programs or independent selected functions can be used depending entirely on the vehicle type and how much dirt has accumulated on the vehicle.
A gantry machine can be installed as rail-mounted or traverse-mounted based on needs, preferences and taste.
An alternative to a Portla machine can be a drive-through washer. If you have limited space or need simpler and faster washing, this may be the solution for you.

Westmatic Compact – smart and ultra-compact drive-through car wash
As the name suggests, the Westmatic Compact has very compact installation dimensions, which provides great flexibility when placed in both new and existing washrooms. Few moving parts in combination with high-quality materials and components guarantee high operational reliability and a long service life.
For best washing results, use full-density brushes or polishing brushes, where the brushes overlap each other when washing the front and rear.
The well-proven mirror protection program ensures that the bus is washed without the risk of damage. The compact machine is often supplemented with splash guards, underwash and a low-rinse rinse arm within the Westmatic Compact concept. The goal is to minimize the wet zone in the wash hall to improve the working environment and facilitate cleaning.

Westmatic Hybrid – ideal for mixed vehicle fleets.
A drive-through bus wash can also be based on a Westmatic Hybrid. This is a very versatile machine that can effectively handle many other types of vehicles in addition to buses.
With Westmatic Hybrid, vehicles can be washed all around with brushes, high pressure or a combination of both. Just like the Westmatic Compact, the Westmatic Hybrid has very small installation dimensions and is therefore very flexible and easy to place in the car wash.
Overlapping brushes in full-density quality or polishing design, in combination with mirror protection programs, ensure a good washing result without the risk of damage to the vehicles.
To complement the machine, the system is usually equipped with an under-rinse, splash guard and a low-flush rinse arm.

Westmatic Twin for train washing in both directions
With Westmatic's high-tech train washing machines, the front/stern and sides of trains will be washed in the most efficient and time-saving way. Washing can be done in both directions. Westmatic's high-pressure system consists of robotically controlled high-pressure arcs to provide a uniform and shiny washing result. Westmatic Tornado – Brushless drive-through wash for heavy and complex vehicles
The Westmatic Tornado brushless drive-through washer is a system designed for vehicles such as military vehicles, heavy machinery, refuse trucks, tankers, mining equipment and other large vehicles and trailers with irregular shapes (e.g. container chassis, tankers and flatbeds). The Westmatic Tornado is best suited for larger fleets where fast washing capacity is required. The driver is guided through the washing process using traffic lights
The machine uses three robotic high-pressure arms: a horizontal roof arm and two vertical side arms. The horizontal roof arm can wash the front, sides and rear of the vehicle. The robotic arms can move towards the centre of the wash bay and wash the front and rear with overlapping movements.
The booms also wash the sides of the vehicle using oscillating nozzles. Westmatic Tornado is one of the few systems in the world that can automatically adapt to different widths and unevenness of heavy vehicles and machinery.
