Our own detergent has been developed to complement Westmatic's system with a focus on economy and the environment. The optimized washing results have been verified through extensive tests
– mainly in our test facility in Arvika but also out in the field with selected customers.
With a very competitive price, reduced wear and tear on the washing system equipment and the possibility of extended warranties, we offer a good economic solution both in the short and long term. In addition, we jointly gain better control over the water quality in the closed recycling system and the purified water that is released into the municipal water supply network.

Gentle on both the environment and the system
Our environmentally friendly detergents are developed and tested not only for optimal washing results but also to be gentle on Westmatics washing systems. Aggressive detergents risk damaging sensitive components such as gaskets, valves and hoses. At the same time, the wrong viscosity can affect both function and mixing conditions, resulting in both operating problems and poor washing results. These concerns are completely eliminated when using Westmatics detergents.
To simplify orders and handling, we work with few but effective variants:
- Alka is, as the name suggests, alkaline detergents for removing organic material.
- Tar is a tar remover that takes care of oil-based materials such as asphalt patches.
- Oxal is based on oxalic acid with a low pH value, which is effective against oxides such as rust and contaminants from brakes.
- Rinse is a runoff agent that ensures that the rinsing water drains off the buses in a good way to avoid droplets remaining that, when they dry, form limescale deposits.

Alkaline Degreasing/Foam Shampoo
Alkaline detergents for removing organic material.
- Westmatic Clean & Green Alka: Nordic Ecolabelled cleaning of contaminants such as organic dirt, oil and soot
- Westmatic Clean & Green Alka Power: A strong alkaline degreaser, eco-labeled and specially developed to effectively remove difficult deposits of soot, traffic film, oil, vegetable oil, road grime and other stubborn contaminants.
- Westmatic Heavy Duty Alka: Nordic Ecolabelled cleaning of difficult contaminants such as stubborn organic dirt, oil and soot.
- Westmatic Heavy Duty Alka : Reinforced alkaline detergent for exterior washing of heavy vehicles. Nordic Ecolabel.
- Westmatic Wheel Wash: Effective alkaline cleaner for rims.
Tar remover
Tar is a tar remover that takes care of oil-based materials such as asphalt patches.
- Westmatic Clean & Green Tar : Nordic Ecolabelled aromatic-free, heavy-duty cold degreasing with low VOC (volatile organic compounds) for exterior washing of heavy vehicles. Used to dissolve oil, asphalt, tar, brake dust, traffic film and road salt, among other things.
- Westmatic Heavy Duty Tar: Reinforced low-aromatic cold degreaser that effectively dissolves oil, tar, asphalt stains and salt, among other things.
- Westmatic Heavy Duty Micro: Combined cleaning and degreasing agent for all types of exterior cleaning of heavy vehicles.
Oxide dissolver
- Westmatic Clean & Green Oxal: Nordic Ecolabelled water and oxalic acid-based detergent with a low pH value that is used to remove, for example, brake dust and iron oxide from all types of heavy vehicles. This agent is primarily used when washing rail vehicles.
Drainage agent
Rinse is a runoff agent that ensures that the rinsing water drains off the buses in a good way to avoid droplets remaining that, when they dry, form limescale deposits.
- Westmatic Clean & Green Rinse: Nordic Ecolabelled drying agent that reduces limescale stains on paintwork and windows in both automatic and manual washing systems, when cleaning heavy vehicles.
- Westmatic Non Spot: Heavy vehicle washing. Used in automatic and DIY car washes as a rinse wax after washing.
Rust remover
- Westmatic Purple Iron: Effectively dissolves rust and other dust stuck to rims and painted surfaces. The product protects against corrosion while providing a nice shine.
Interior washing
- Westmatic Clean & Green Allround: Effective yet gentle and neutral cleaning agent suitable for many uses, such as both interior and exterior cleaning of heavy vehicles on surfaces that can withstand water. Nordic Ecolabel.
Hall cleaning
- Westmatic Wall Cleaner: Highly effective agent designed for cleaning premises in tough environments such as laundry rooms.
